East Gate Kids was formerly known as Kids Alive Learning and Development Center, located at 1015 Chelwood Park Blvd. N.E. On March 25th, 1995, the Senior Pastor founded Kids Alive to serve the community and the Church by providing quality and affordable daycare services for children ages six weeks to preschool.

In March 2000, Kids Alive moved from their facility located on Chelwood Park Blvd. to the new facility we are currently in. Not only did we move into a bigger and nicer facility, but we also added service for 6th graders and changed our name to East Gate Kids to coincide with the change of the church name from Chelwood Park Foursquare Church to East Gate Church of the Foursquare Gospel.
