A Little More

Go on into this and you will find a world of wonder and exploration throughout. The children are actively engaged in a variety of activities that inspire children’s curiosities in all aspects of development Reggio Emilia-inspired classroom. The wonderful classroom is the first Pre-K level with children who are just turning 4 and feeds nicely into Pre-K 2.

The wood floors, soft lights, wooden furniture, and a quiet space make this room inviting and calm. The writing program builds on “Handwriting Without Tears” by using lots of sensory activities to learn letters and mini chalkboards to practice and explore. Circles and lines are used to create letters.

You will find music to be used in this classroom and the children also have natural clay experiences.

Children are also encouraged to practice the act of kindness.
